About Your Trip

Discover why Tampa Bay is considered one of Florida's premier inshore fisheries on a customized trip with Captain Matt. Available in 2, 4, 6, and 8-hour options, these trips are designed for everyone from first-time anglers and families to experienced fishermen looking to target specific species.

Depending on the season, you'll fish the grass flats, mangrove shorelines, backcountry waters, and nearby structure for Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Tripletail, Jack
Crevalle, Cobia, and more. Captain Matt specializes in sight fishing whenever conditions allow and takes advantage of Tampa Bay's incredible year-round live bait fishery to give anglers the best opportunity for success.

You'll fish from a 23-foot Skeeter bay boat equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and a livewell to keep fresh bait ready throughout the day. Rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, fishing licenses, drinks, and fish cleaning are all included, so all you need to bring is sun protection, sunglasses, and any snacks you'd like.

Whether you're hoping to complete an inshore slam, sight cast to cruising fish, or simply enjoy a relaxing day on one of Florida's most productive estuaries, Captain Matt will tailor the trip to match your goals and the day's conditions.
