About Your Trip

These trips are very fast action, great for beginners, kids and experts alike! These trips target mainly, bluegill, redear sunfish, crappie, rock bass etc. Whether you are looking to come out and catch a bunch of fish for fun or a mess of fish for the fryer, these trips are a lot of fun. If you are planning to keep fish, cleaning is provided for no extra charge and I supply the cooler and ice on the boat for your catch.

From the Months of June through August, morning trips start as early as 5:30 to beat the heat and boat traffic as the day progresses. Afternoon trips start around 3:30 or 4. Both afternoon and evening trips last 5-6 hours. Trips for the Months of May, September, and October will begin between 7 and 8 in the morning. Morning trips during these months are only available on the weekends. Evening trips are available for all 7 days of the week for these trips, however, weekday trips will not be able to start until 5 pm. We will meet at the Jimmerson Lake Boat launch and fish one of the lakes on the Lake James chain, just dependent on the conditions and time of year.

My boat is a Tracker V16 and 17 feet long with a nice wide 7 foot stern. I can bring up to 4 guests. The boat is equipped with Livescope, and a Hummingbird Helix 7 to help us get on the fish as quick as possible. It also equipped with an I Pilot trolling, helping stay on the fish instead of wasting time pulling anchors up and down all day. It also allows me to be more hands on in helping customers catch fish, instead of having to work the trolling motor with a foot pedal.

While these trips mainly take place on the Lake James chain, I am willing to travel to other lakes in Northeast Indiana to teach techniques that will work on those bodies of water. I am also willing to target specific species if requested along with teaching certain techniques if your goal is to learn as much as possible.

I work hard to keep everyone on the fish and am constantly baiting rods, helping people with different techniques, spending most of my time helping you catch fish instead of fishing myself.
