This private Maldives inshore and nearshore fishing program is ideal for guests visiting the Maldives with family or friends who want to add a real ocean adventure to their holiday. Whether you are staying at a resort or a local island guesthouse, you can hire us for a private day trip focused on fishing, snorkeling, or a mix of both, depending on your interests.

Trips are available as a half-day program of around 5 hours or a full-day program of around 8 hours, fishing within approximately 20 nautical miles depending on weather, sea conditions, and target species. The experience is suitable for beginners, families, casual anglers, and experienced guests who want a private sport-fishing session during their vacation.

As professional sport fishermen, we plan each trip around the guest’s comfort, experience level, and preferred activity. Depending on the season and conditions, the program can include light casting, jigging, trolling, reef fishing, nearshore sport fishing, and snorkeling. Possible fishing targets include tuna, trevally, grouper, snapper, barracuda, and other Maldivian game fish.

You will fish from a private 38ft centre console boat with local crew and guide support. The boat offers speed, shade, safety gear, fishing setup, and enough comfort for a proper private day on the water. What makes this trip different is the combination of local sea knowledge, professional fishing experience, flexible planning, and a personal approach to every guest, helping you return from your Maldives holiday with a memorable ocean story.

We also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
