About Your Trip

Explore the creeks, flats, rivers, marshes, and Intracoastal waters of Northeast Florida with Captain Lance on a private St. Augustine inshore fishing adventure!

These trips are built around the constantly changing inshore fishery of St. Johns County. Rather than following the same routine every day, Lance will plan your trip around the tides, conditions, seasonal patterns, and experience level of your group. It's a great opportunity for experienced anglers to dial into a new fishery
or for beginners and families to learn the ropes in a relaxed setting.

Choose from 4-, 6-, or 8-hour trips depending on how much time you want to spend exploring. The 4-hour option offers a great introduction to the local fishery, while 6 hours gives Lance additional flexibility to work different areas and changing tides. The full 8-hour trip is ideal for anglers who want to dedicate their day to fishing and give themselves the most time to explore everything these waters have to offer.

You'll fish aboard a 22' center console powered by a 150HP Mercury and equipped with a bow-mounted trolling motor, live wells for bait, plenty of seating, and room for up to 4 guests. The setup is well suited for navigating the shallow and dynamic waters surrounding St. Augustine.

All fishing equipment, bait, ice, water, and soft drinks are provided. Guests should bring any snacks or lunch they'd like for the day along with sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and weather-appropriate layers.

Beyond the fishing, you'll get to experience one of the most unique coastal environments in Florida. The marshes, winding creeks, rivers, and Intracoastal Waterway surrounding historic St. Augustine provide an incredible backdrop for a day on the water.

Whether you're an experienced angler looking to break down the local fishery or introducing your family to inshore fishing for the first time, Lance keeps his trips personal and unhurried, with an emphasis on learning, enjoying the water, and making the most of whatever the day brings.

About Your Guide

Lance K.

Independent Guide
Captain Lance brings more than 35 years of fishing experience from waters around the world to the inshore fishery of Northeast Florida.

His career began fishing the waters surrounding California's Santa Barbara Channel Islands before taking him across the Pacific to Micronesia and eventually Kauai. Lance spent nearly two decades operating fishing charters in Hawaii, where the demanding offshore fishery helped shape him into the captain he is today. After returning to the mainland, he continued chasing big game on
the East Coast and competing in major offshore marlin tournaments, something he still participates in today.

Lance also holds a 100-Ton Master Captain's License and has experience running large sportfishing boats, but after a lifetime of chasing offshore giants, his true passion is inshore fishing. He loves the strategy and finesse required to break down shallow, constantly changing water.

Today, Lance brings that lifetime of experience to the creeks, flats, rivers, marshes, and Intracoastal waters surrounding St. Augustine. His trips are personal and relaxed, with an emphasis on professionalism, respect for the local ecosystem, and sharing his knowledge with everyone from seasoned fishermen to families and first-time anglers.
