About Your Trip

Our trips typically leave the dock around 5:00 AM, allowing us to make the most of the best fishing conditions. If our schedule allows and we don’t have another charter booked, we’re often able to adjust departure or return times to better fit your needs.

Unlike many charter boats, we don’t carry a mate. As the captain, I personally handle everything throughout the day—from rigging tackle and helping anglers fight fish to cleaning your catch and making sure everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience. Without a mate onboard, you’ll also have more room to move around the boat and fish comfortably.

We provide everything you need for a successful day on the water, including top-quality rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and all required safety equipment. The boat will be fully stocked with ice, so just bring your favorite food, drinks, and any personal items you’d like for the trip.

We offer 4-, 6-, and 8-hour striped bass and bluefish charters, along with trips targeting many of the other inshore species Cape Cod has to offer. We also specialize in 8-hour Bluefin tuna charters, which depart at 5:00 AM to give us the best opportunity to locate feeding fish and maximize your time on the grounds.

If fishing isn’t your thing and you simply want to spend a day on the water with family or friends, we offer sightseeing trips as well. Choose from 2-, 4-, or 6-hour excursions, including whale watching, seal tours on the Cape Cod flats, scenic cruises, or simply relaxing on the water while taking in the beauty of Cape Cod.

You’ll be aboard a 2019 27’ Onslow Bay center console, powered by twin 350 HP Mercury Verado outboards. Built for speed, comfort, and offshore performance, it’s the ideal platform for everything from relaxing sightseeing cruises to chasing giant Bluefin tuna.

He was introduced to commercial fishing at a young age, building a strong foundation of knowledge and experience that eventually led him into the charter fishing industry nearly 20 years ago. Today, Captain Matt specializes in light-tackle fishing, using topwater, jigging, and live-bait techniques to target striped bass, bluefish, fluke, Bluefin tuna, and many of the other incredible species that call Cape Cod’s waters home. Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
