Explore the rivers and fisheries surrounding Cincinnati with Drake and his team on a year-round fishing adventure built for anglers of all ages and experience levels!

Choose between fly fishing or conventional light tackle depending on your experience, fishing style, and what you want to get out of the day. Whether you're picking up a fly rod for the first time, looking to sharpen your skills, or simply want to get after some fish with conventional tackle, your guide will tailor the experience to your group.

Trips take place throughout the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Tri-State area, with the exact water and approach determined by current conditions and where your guide believes you'll have the best opportunity. Drake and his team have spent years exploring the area's rivers and are passionate about introducing guests to the quality fishing available close to Cincinnati.

Smallmouth Bass are a particular passion for the team, but these guides have experience pursuing a wide range of species and will adjust techniques throughout the year. More than simply catching fish, the goal is to teach along the way. Beginners can expect hands-on instruction, while experienced anglers can pick up local knowledge, new techniques, and insight into how the guides approach these waters.

Choose a 4-hour half day for an easy morning or afternoon on the water, or make it a 7-hour full day for more time to explore and fish. All necessary fishing gear is provided. Half-day trips also include drinks and snacks, while full-day adventures include lunch.

Guests are responsible for purchasing the appropriate fishing license for the state being fished.

Whether you're chasing Smallmouth on a fly, working natural presentations with light tackle, or introducing someone to fishing for the first time, Drake and his team are ready to show you what the Cincinnati Tri-State fishery has to offer.

Drake and his team bring a serious passion for fishing, exploring, and teaching to the waters surrounding Cincinnati and the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Tri-State area.

Drake grew up learning to fly fish on the Little Miami River before refining his skills fishing and guiding out West. His philosophy is pretty simple: if it has fins and swims, he'd like to catch it!

Joining Drake is a crew of anglers with their own specialties and backgrounds. Travis has a particular obsession with Smallmouth Bass and isn't afraid to seine for Hellgrammites or cast net fresh bait before hitting the water. Mark grew up fishing in South Florida and has spent the last 20 years exploring the waters around Cincinnati, always looking for new stretches of fishable water. Dick has exclusively fly fished for the past 15 years and has fished all 50 states and parts of Canada while pursuing Smallmouth, Musky, Pike, and more across North America.

Together, Drake, Travis, Mark, and Dick welcome everyone from complete beginners and kids learning to fish to experienced anglers looking to explore new water. Expect patient instruction, plenty of local knowledge, and a team that genuinely enjoys sharing their passion for fishing with every guest.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
