About Your Trip

The Ten Thousand Islands are one of Florida's most extraordinary natural treasures, and Tyler knows every corner of them.

Stretching along Florida's southwest Gulf Coast just south of Goodland, the Ten Thousand Islands is a vast, largely untouched wilderness of mangrove islands, shallow bays, and crystal-clear Gulf waters that most people never get the chance to explore properly. Tyler grew up in this corner of Florida and has spent more than 12 years guiding these
waters, accumulating the kind of local knowledge that no map can replicate. He knows where the shells are, which islands are worth lingering on, and exactly how to make the most of a day out here.

The focus of the trip is island hopping through some of the most remote and pristine beaches in the state, where exotic shells wash ashore in remarkable variety. Spend as little or as much time on the beach as your group desires, the day is entirely yours to shape. When you're ready to move on, Tyler knows the next spot.

Wildlife is woven into every part of the experience. On the way out or back, Tyler can thread through the mangrove channels where the scenery shifts into something almost primordial. Roseate spoonbills, ospreys, herons, and dozens of other bird species work the shallows throughout, while dolphins appear regularly in the open water. Keep your eyes open and you may also spot sharks cruising the flats, manatees drifting through the channels, or sea turtles surfacing quietly alongside the boat.

This is one of those trips that people talk about long after they've left Florida.

Book your island hopping adventure with Tyler and discover the Ten Thousand Islands the way they were meant to be explored.

He knew where to go in rookery bay, aptly rebaited the fishing hooks. We caught a snook, several young snapper and jacks, and then several athletic tarpon that put up a good fight. He told us fishing stories and we saw the beautiful Marco island and rookery bay islands where dolphins and sea turtles were swimming. He provided many opportunities for us to catch big fish! It was a great time for the family.

Tyler was amazing with our 6 year old. Despite the unusually cold temperatures, Tyler was able to put us on the fish. We caught more game fish on this tour than the three years prior with other guides in more favorable conditions. Tyler did a fantastic job. Thank you for the wonderful memories with our family, Tyler!
