If you are looking for an action-packed, family-friendly summer tradition, seasonal scalloping in Pasco County is an absolute must-do adventure! Operating along Florida’s Nature Coast, our private charters take you into the beautiful, crystal-clear waters of the Gulf to harvest fresh bay scallops hiding beneath the surface. This aquatic journey is like an exciting underwater Easter egg hunt, making it a memorable experience for everyone from first-time snorkelers to seasoned divers.

What to Expect on the Water:

With professional guidance from Captain Chris, you will receive expert, hands-on instruction and local tips to ensure your harvest is successful, safe, and incredibly fun. Our trips take place in shallow grass flats ranging from 3 to 8 feet deep, creating a relaxing environment perfectly suited for children and swimmers of all skill levels. Equipped with a mask and snorkel, you will gently swim along the surface to spot the scallops nestled in the lush seagrass beds. Once you eye a target, dive down and scoop them right up into your mesh bag by hand or with a small dip net!

Everything is Included:

We supply all the premium snorkeling gear you need—including masks, fins, and snorkels—though you are always welcome to bring your favorite personal setup. You are welcome to bring your own gear. Space on the boat fills up quickly during the restricted summer season, so book your ultimate Florida scalloping adventure today! Don'f forget your towel, sunscreen, drinks and snacks.

Growing up in the Tampa Bay area of Florida allowed Captain Chris to pursue his passion for being on the water. Whether it is fishing, spearfishing, scuba diving, boating, or paddle boarding with his family and friends, he's out on the water. With over 25 years of experience fishing exclusively in the Gulf of Mexico along Florida's Adventure Coast, (including Hernando, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties) Captain Chris knows the seasonal patterns of migration and habitats of the fish so he can put you on the fish you are going to be the most successful a catching at any given time of the year. He specializes in light tackle and inshore fishing. Captain Chris has a passion for fishing and loves to share his knowledge of each species, and will make every effort to help you catch that bucket list fish or have a fun day of fishing.

Captain Chris makes every effort to provide a fun, memorable, and safe trip regardless of your fishing experience. Rest assured your safety is a priority. Our fishing charters are here to ensure that your trip goes smoothly, and safely, and is as stress-free as possible. When it comes to fishing, it’s not just a job, it’s a passion, and Captain Chris looks forward to sharing his love of fishing with you.

In addition to being a licensed and insured USCG Captain and fishing guide, he is a Deputy, spent several years on the Sheriff's Office dive team, and holds several PADI scuba certifications from open water to rescue diver. We've got you covered!

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, drink, snack. You can bring your own gear.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
