The 6-hour trip is a great introduction to offshore fishing, giving you enough time to venture up to roughly 20 miles off the coast while mixing bottom fishing and trolling. Depending on the season and conditions, you'll target Kingfish, Amberjack, Snapper, Sharks, and other species holding around productive offshore waters.

The 8-hour trip gives Captain John a full day to expand the search and spend more time working productive water. You'll have more flexibility to troll for pelagic species like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, and Mackerel while also having the opportunity to bottom fish for Snapper, Amberjack, and other reef and structure-oriented species. The additional time allows Captain John to adjust the game plan throughout the day based on where the bite is best.

The 10-hour trip is built for anglers looking to maximize their offshore time and put a serious trolling effort together. With the longest day on the water, Captain John has more time to cover ground and search for productive offshore conditions while targeting Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Barracuda, Amberjack, and more. If you're looking for the most dedicated offshore experience Captain John offers, this is the trip for you.

No matter which duration you choose, Captain John will tailor the day around the conditions, season, and what's biting. You may spend your time trolling open water, working offshore structure, dropping baits to the bottom, or combining techniques to make the most of your trip.

You'll fish aboard Captain John's 26' Trophy Pro powered by twin 150 HP Suzuki four-stroke engines. The boat comes equipped with quality Penn and Shimano fishing gear, navigational electronics, and all necessary safety equipment.

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are provided, so just bring your favorite food and drinks, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and anything else you'd like for the day.

Captain John can accommodate up to 5 guests, including children ages 5 and up.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
