About Your Trip

Cold river water, hard-fighting fish, and a full six hours to work with. This Port Alberni trip is focused on Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, and Steelhead, with your guide reading the river and adjusting the approach as conditions change.

Rather than sticking to one routine, the day is built around finding productive water and making the most of what the river gives you. You’ll fish aboard a 25-foot Pursuit cuddy cabin with GPS and a
fishfinder, with space for up to four anglers.

All fishing gear is provided, so the packing list stays simple. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal items you want for the day. From there, it’s six hours of river water, changing conditions, and time spent chasing some of British Columbia’s toughest fish.
