About Your Trip

Fly fishing the Pacific waters off Punta Mita brings a different kind of challenge, where quick casts, moving fish, and a solid fight on the fly are all part of the experience. Whether you're after hard-charging Roosterfish or aggressive Jack Crevalle, these waters offer plenty of opportunities to put your fly fishing skills to work.

Choose between a 4- or 8-hour trip aboard a 34-foot Nava center console, targeting Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Sierra Mackerel, and
Mahi Mahi. Your captain will work the surrounding waters based on conditions and fish activity, giving you a shot at some of the Pacific coast's most exciting game fish.

The boat features cushioned seating and two coolers to keep things comfortable throughout the trip. Fly fishing equipment and refreshments are included, so you can focus on making your casts and enjoying the time on the water. With room for up to four guests, there's plenty of space to settle in for the day.

Meet your captain in Punta Mita and head out for a saltwater fly fishing adventure along Mexico's rugged Pacific coast.

Even though it was my first day on salt water and first time casting a 10 weight, they were able to level up my Colorado-grown river casting techniques to the saltwater experience. Within minutes of launching they had me on fish. It was a humbling and awe inspiring experience. They know the gear, the flies, the tides, the reefs, the techniques - everything it takes to get fishers on fish! They kept it light and fun and thrilling. And kept me focused despite the whales breeching around us! What a memoriable day on the water. And thank you Captain Experiences for connecting me with such phenomenal salt water fly fishing guides and making the entire process seamless (guide selection, payment, easy sourcing of license, and even fast text responses to my detailed questions). Highly recommend finding your next experience through Capt Ex!!!!
