Parked above the reefs, rigs, and wrecks Captain Kathan will chum up the water to get the snapper up off the reef and a little higher in the water column. Then you will drop some cut bait down on them and hope the biggest one hammers your hook. Get ready...

About Your Trip

When snapper season is in, there is only one place you will find Captain Kathan, and that's over the wrecks, rigs, and reefs around Biloxi. Parked above the reefs, rigs, and wrecks Captain Kathan will chum up the water to get the snapper up off the reef and a little higher in the water column. Then you will drop some cut bait down on them and hope the biggest one hammers your hook. Get ready for a fight when it does!

The season runs from the last weekend in May to the first weekend in July, and can potentially reopen for a short period after the mid-season closure. The season can also be cut short if population levels are down so feel free to contact us to make sure Red Snapper are in season before you book your trip!
