Have you ever wanted to do battle with a prehistoric apex predator with razor sharp teeth and pounds of lean muscle? With Captain Billy B, you can! Your Shark adventure will begin at the dock as Billy explains what you can expect on your trip. No detail will be left out or question unanswered in order to make your trip exciting, educational, and memorable.

In the Florida Keys, you can expect many shark species from Blacktip to Bull and all their shark friends.

Your charter will start with fishing for some of their favorite meals, typically barracuda and jacks. These fish will smash your bait and give you an incredible rush to start your day. You might even think this is two fishing trips in one.

Next, you’ll move on to the sharks and you’ll be catching these predators of the sea with rod and reel, or you can even fly fish for them. Either way, you can expect the excitement to build as you watch these carnivores swim up towards the boat, then be prepared for not only a fierce fight but also a fantastic show for all to see. If you are ready to be put through the paces, clamp down on your rod, and haul in one of these beasts. Islamorada Shark fishing is where it’s at! This unique trip is for the angler looking for a thrilling excursion.

Captain Billy, as everyone knows him by, should have been born with gills.

Since his youth, Billy has been fishing in the bass ponds of Maryland and all along the Eastern Shore. He remembers fondly navigating out of Ocean City, Maryland as a teenager, catching Bluefish by the 55-gallon drum.

Billy attended High Point University in North Carolina on a soccer scholarship and, after earning his four-year degree, he came to Florida to begin his business career. During his years of working as a Senior Vice President with companies like Tire Kingdom, Goodyear, and Pep Boys, one thing that has never changed is Billy’s passion for fishing. Billy honed many of his fishing skills in Palm Beach County, where he fished competitively both inshore and offshore. He’s also competed in tournaments like FLW, B.A.S.S., Redman, and Redfish Tour and loves fishing locations like Lake Okeechobee, Florida Bay and Biscayne Bay. After twenty-eight years of fishing the Florida waters, Captain Billy knows the fish’s habits and routines extremely well.

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro, Billy understands your perfect day begins at the dock. As you prepare to depart, he will describe the day based on your expectations. Being out on the Florida Keys waters is all-encompassing, an absolute paradise, and it’s your captain’s second home. Reeling in fish, like the ones you see on television or seeing the world from underwater, your trip will be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. From dock to done, fervent fishing to frolicking, for Captain Billy, it all boils down to the love of the chase.

Great day out with Captain Billy B that I strongly recommend. When I said I wanted to catch trout, I was not expecting to catch over 50 on a 6 hour trip. Not only does Captain Billy know his fishing spots in the Everglades but he will also take the time to teach you how to improve your techniques. How to catch a fish at almost every cast. am sure he is great with kids....
