About Your Trip

Head out for a trip to remember exploring the beautiful flats and backcountry with Captain Clay!

Fishing the St. Augustine area and its abounding flats, bays, and tidal creeks provides some of the best fishing in Northeast Florida. Whether you're fishing with live bait or sight fishing with artificials you will have a great time targeting many species like Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Flounder and many others.

You will be fishing from Captain Clay's
19' Pathfinder that allows you to fish comfortably while still exploring the shallow water where the fish like to hang out. The fish like this shallow water because predators are usually too big to mess with them. Back up in the Tidal creeks and interspersed flats, you'll often find happy fish willing to whack your bait. Happy fish = Happy you!

All ages and experience levels are welcome; Captain Clay is a pro when it comes to catering his trips to your experience level. Whether you're an experienced angler looking for your next trophy or a new beginner looking for some rod bending fun, Captain Clay puts in the extra effort to make sure you have an outstanding time out on the water.

Captain Clay supplies everything you need for a successful fishing adventure as well. He supplies all bait, tackle, gear, fishing licenses, ice water, and will even offer to fillet and store your catch free of charge. All you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks, some appropriate clothing for Florida's climate, and some sunglasses.
