About Your Trip

This trip is for the avid fishermen looking to get down and dirty to catch trophy fish that can double as great table fare! Captain Mike's 11-hour trips provide ample time to run 40+ miles to “the ledge” where the bottom drops off quickly from 200 to 2,000+ feet of water. Hands down the best fishing grounds off the coast of St. Augustine.

For your trip, you will climb aboard Captain Mike's 33' Wellcraft Center Console. This boat is designed to handle offshore chop will get you out to the ledge in no time a 200 HP Honda strapped to the back. Once you out DEEP, Captain Mike will do all the rigging for some deep water trolling for pelagics like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and Tuna or skip on over to an offshore reef site where you can bottom fish and/or jig for Amberjack and a variety of Snapper and Grouper species.

Prices include fuel, ice, bait, rods/reels, tackle, fishing licenses, and fish cleaning at the end of your trip. You only need to bring your food, drinks, weather-appropriate gear, a rain jacket is highly encouraged, and fresh arms to fight these awesome pelagic species.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

I set up a fishing trip with Captain Mike as part of my buddies bachelor party and could not have asked for a better experience. Capt. Mike was extremely professional and was an excellent guide. He personally reached out to me a few days before our scheduled departure to check in and see if I had any questions and give me more details. The morning of the trip Captain Mike had everything set up and waiting for us when we arrived to the dock. I was very impressed with how organized he was. The Captain wasted no time getting us on fish and the entire group started reeling them in one after the other. At the conclusion of the trip Captain Mike cleaned all of the fish we caught and bagged up the filets for us to take home. I would highly recommend Captain Mike to everyone. My buddies and I had a great time!

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
