Have you ever wanted to catch that once-in-a-lifetime fish as you stalk slowly across a grass flat, mangrove grove, or everglades backcountry? With Captain George aboard his technical poling skiff, you can do just that. Spend a half or full day exploring the beautiful flats around Key West as you chase down tarpon, permit, barracuda, sharks, snappers and more.

This backcountry/flats charter is a popular choice for both longtime anglers and families because of its wide range of fishing opportunities. Hop on his 16' poling skiff to have the inshore waters at your fingertips, everything is accessible aboard this vessel. No water is too skinny, no secret spot ungettable.

Your adventure will begin at the dock as Captain George explains what you can expect on your trip. No detail will be left out or question unanswered in order to make your trip exciting, educational, and memorable. Be sure to bring any beverages and your lunch you might enjoy, and Captain George will provide everything else.

Captain George is one of those Captains that just has the bug. Captain George may be young, but he's is full of that firey passion that all the best guides have. It's everything about the Florida keys estuary for him. From the beautiful grass flats littering the lower keys, to the mangrove biome North at Flamingo, to the offshore waters just south in the Atlantic. There is no better place to grow up for an avid fisherman like himself. Captain George has two boats a 16' technical poling skiff for maneuvering the flats and everglades, and a 27' center console for exploring the deep water. Head out with him for a great time out on the water!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a trip with Captain George. He and his mate Kyle picked us up on time and took us out for a great day of fishing. Weather was definitely sporty but his boat handled it comfortably. They were very well prepared to for everything. Having a boat myself I asked a lot of questions on techniques and such. Captain George was very help and wasn't hesitant to share his knowledge. We had a great time. They were upbeat and personable. We ended up will a cooler full of yellow tail snapper, a nice mutton snapper, a nice fight on a good-sized bonito. They recommended a good place to cook it up for us. I would highly recommend taking a trip with Captain George.

George was great. Incredibly knowledgeable, charming, and patient. He was prepared to fish for all kinds of fish of different size and environs. We hooked a couple sharks, barracudas, yellowtail snappers, and a Goliath grouper. Great fun and we feel like we made a friend.

What a great time! My son and I enjoyed our trip. Fishing the flats and mangroves was a great new experience it and I can’t wait to do it again.
