Wade your way into the water with Chris and get ready for an action-packed day of fishing in Roswell! On this fly-fishing trip you'll be wading into the Chattahoochee River as you target Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, and Carp.

The Chattahoochee River is known for its self-sustaining Trout population, but don't forget about the other fish! Chris will outfit you with the right flies to target Bass and Carp on this half or full-day experience. After wading with you into the Chattahoochee River from one of the public access points, he'll give you some of his expert fly-fishing tips and let you try your luck with some river fish!

Whether you're new to fly fishing or not, Chris is eager to help and will have you leaving with some new-found fly fishing skills. He has been guiding trips in Georgia for almost 30 years, so expect to get some bites!

Chris will provide all the rods, reels, flies and tippet you need to get out on the river and catch some fish. All you need to bring is a valid Georgia Fishing License and any food or beverages you might want. Enjoy your day out on the river with Chris!

Fly fishing the Chattahoochee River is done best with Captain Chris. Captain Chris founded his charter company in 1994 after gaining inspiration from fly fishing the Rocky Mountain West. Since then, he and his crew have been fly fishing for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and other local species.

The mild climate of the Chattahoochee River and late spawn season are perfect for fly fishing anglers of all skill levels. Captain Chris places customer service first and foremost, with an emphasis on passing knowledge of the fishery to anglers. Bonding and entertaining with family, friends, and business associates is unique to each customer experience.

The Chattahoochee River is one of three rivers in the world within close proximity to a major city, which has a thriving, self-sustaining population of Trout. While most people would not associate great Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout fishing with a major city like Atlanta, you'll be impressed with the extensive greenway park system that connects the many small towns along the Chattahoochee in the greater metro area with vast riparian areas designed to protect Atlanta's drinking water.

There are 48 river miles of designated trout water with over 9,000 acres of protected park lands managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the National Park Service. The cool waters released from the depths of Lake Sidney Lanier at Buford dam provide an ideal environment for trout and other wildlife species. The flora and fauna abound along the river with frequent sightings of white tail deer, osprey, beaver, otter, muskrat, mink, raccoons and much more.

In the Fall of 2003 Charlie Ford landed the new state record Brown Trout which weighed over 18lbs. and rainbows in the 16 to 20 inch range are not uncommon!
