Get ready to chase down some of the Atlantic's tastiest and most exciting gamefish in the blue waters off of Morehead City, NC with Captain Jeffrey. Mackerel—both the smaller Spanish and the larger King species—are widely known for their crazy fighting ability and are a challenge for any angler, no matter how experienced. These fish will leap high out of the water trying to throw your hook, and they'll test your drag reel as they head for the horizon at top speed.

These fish often school, so you'll troll at a medium depth, looking to attract them with a variety of lures and baits. Once a Mackerel grabs your hook, get ready for the fight of your life! These fish are fast and will fight you for every inch of line.

You'll get off the dock aboard your guide's 24' Carolina Skiff—a great type of boat for fishing everything from flats to estuaries to nearshore waters. It's powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, so you'll be on the fish in no time at all. Captain Jeffrey will come prepared with everything you need for a great day, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. He's an expert in these waters and will do everything he can to get you hooked up on a personal best! Bring along proper clothing, sunscreen, and a pair of polarized sunglasses to maximize your time on the water.

Awesome trip!! Capt Jeffery and Kaitlyn were phenomenal and got us on an awesome bite. Very family friendly - definitely recommend if you are in the Moorhead city area.
