This trip with Captain Tony is a perfect way to enjoy some of the best fishing that the Gulf Coast has to offer. The southern coast of Lousiana is one of the richest and most diverse fishing areas in the country, so you'll never have a better opportunity to catch your limit, take home a huge trophy, or both! On this trip, you'll be going after classic gamefish like Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled
Trout. To hook up these species, you'll be using mostly live-bait light tackle techniques. Captain Tony knows a bunch of tips and tricks to help you land fish, so don't hesitate to ask for a little advice.
You'll be fishing from the deck of his 24' Bluewave bay boat. It's a perfect boat for the shallow inshore areas, and is powered by a 300-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine to get you on the fish fast! She also features top electronics, including GPS, a fishfinder, PowerPole, and a wireless trolling motor to help you sneak up on the fish. Everything you need for a comfortable, productive day of fishing is right here.
Captain Tony will provide everything you need, including rods and Shimano Stradic 3000-series reels. Bring along a camera to capture the best moments, plus some polarized sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. If you want to keep your catch, bring a cooler—Captain Tony will help you fillet your fish.
