About Your Trip

If you’ve never fished the Louisiana inshore, you’re missing out. These productive waters are home to Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and more. On this 7-hour action-packed adventure, Captain Tommy will help you reel ‘em all in at Calcasieu Lake! If you're from out of town, Calcasieu Lake isn't a true freshwater lake, but actually a brackish inlet home to some killer saltwater species.

No matter your skill level, Captain Tommy will lead
the way. Expect to use light tackle to lure in as many picture-worthy fish as possible. Captain Tommy is happy to clean and filet the fish free of charge for a tasty home meal.

On the morning of the trip, you'll get on the water aboard his 24’ Nautic Star center console which can accommodate up to 3 anglers. This vessel will get you to those shallow hotspots and makes for a smooth ride to and from your destination. The boat is also equipped with a GPS, Fishfinder, Live Bait Well, Wireless Trolling Motor, and an Ice Box to store your catches.

Your captain will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and lures. You can opt to get live shrimp for an added cost. Meals are not included on this trip so remember to bring any food you might need. And make sure you bring a valid Louisiana saltwater fishing license.

Get ready for an exciting day of fishing with Captain Tommy!

Good guide, knows where the fish are, would have like to see tactical changes made for different species or when the bit slowed down. I’d like to see a variety in the arsenal you know. That’s just me being my hardcore fishing self. My wife loved it because we didn’t have to clean or fuel our boat. I agree it’s nice just being a paying customer. The hard thing for me and being very expirienced is you expect everyone to be like you. Tommy did us right and I appreciate his hard work. I’d use Tommy again and would recommend Tommy to others
