If you've been on the hunt for a perfect offshore fishing adventure in Panama City Beach, FL, then this trip has your name on it! Get out there with Captain Harris and go after a bunch of nearshore sportfish, including Grouper, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, Porgies, Amberjack, and more! There's no experience required to catch fish on this trip, and your captain and crew will make sure to get you on some trophy catches, whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth!

To catch these species, which like to hang out over reefs and rocks, you'll use a combination of live bait fishing, jigging, and drifting to draw bites. Some of these bottom fish species get massive, so when you see that rod start to bend, hold on! In addition to being famously good fighters, Snappers and Groupers are also known as top-tier table fare, so make sure to bring a few home for dinner.

Captain Harris operates a newly-restored 40' Infinity sportfisher, powered by twin 420-HP Caterpillar engines and equipped with quality Simrad electronics. She's a fast, comfortable cruiser meant to handle anything the Gulf can throw your way, and features a ton of additional gear and amenities to enhance your trip, including outriggers, downriggers, live bait well, and an icebox to keep your drinks and food cool throughout the day.

Captain Harris will supply everything you need for a top-tier day, including all the rods, reels, and tackle. You can purchase bait before the trip departs, for a rate of $10 per hour. Bring some sunscreen and a pair of polarized sunglasses, and ready for a fishing adventure like none other!

Captain Harris was born in Alabama, but moved to Panama City Beach in grade school, where he developed his love of fishing. He got his first boat at age 14 and has spent the last 12 years in the bay systems of the Gulf honing his angling skills.
Besides sharing his zest for fishing with resident and vacationing anglers, Captain Harris has enjoyed fishing major tournaments up and down the Gulf Coast for the last eight years.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
