Hi My name is captain Brody I am a full time fishing guide here in Rockport Texas and have been a guide for 7 years now.We specialize in all bay and flats fishing on the Texas coast. We chase redfish and black drum schools around in the shallows and flats and back waters all year long and also add in sone trout fishing and sone different fishing for different species in the prettier more tropical/summer parts of the year! We strive to put good numbers of fish in the box and put you on a great day!

In the winter months we kick over to duck hunting and cast and blasting here on the Texas coast. It is a great place to mark off species you haven’t shot before or just have a blast hunting over sone of the most plentiful waterfowl habitat Texas has to offer! Also if you are a winter time fisherman don’t hesitate to book a winter fishing trip as the fishing is usually always good in one way or another! For our duck hunters we shoot a variety of birds from almost all your puddle ducks and some geese to pretty much all your divers and a sea duck here or there!

Whether you plan to chase ducks or catch fish here in south Texas don’t hesitate to do it with captain Brody I will personally work my hardest in every way to put you on the best time I can under any conditions!

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

The biggest fish we have caught and landed in the bay is probably a 70-80 pound black drum or a 100-120 pound alligator gar. we have also landed several giant cobia/Ling from 30-72 pounds giant king fish 58 pounds record redfish on the boat 53 inch biggest speckled trout on boat 31 inch Biggest flounder on the boat 27 inches and we have faught some absolutely giant dinosaurs that have broke us off or came off the hook to live another day

Out of the bay black drum is some of the absolute best fish to have a fish fry with it is our favorite! We also love redfish on the half shell

How did you get started guiding?

It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do since I ways knee high to a grasshopper! The day I graduated high school I started deckhanding on offshore boats and already had a bay boat. As soon as I had enough hours to get my license and start my own company it was on to the races. I love watching people catch fish and shoot ducks especially for the first time or in a new place

What makes you different from other guides?

There is a lot of good ones out there but Capt Brody will strive to put you on the best day possible in the safest matter no matter what the conditions have in store for us. We are here to provide you with the best time possible and even if the fish aren’t blighting like they should or birds aren’t flying like they should we will still make sure you enjoy your time

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
