About Your Trip

If you've been looking for the perfect trip to start the duck season, you're in the right place! On this hunt with your outfitter, Brody, you'll chase Teals and other ducks in one of America's top waterfowl areas. Located smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, the South Coast of Texas is an annual stopover for millions of ducks, which come to rest in the protected bays and inshore waters while they migrate.

Species here include Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Cinnamon Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks—all of which are a blast to shoot and great to eat as well.

On this trip, your outfitter, Brody, will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the blinds and decoys, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells. You'll get out there before dawn, and hunt until 11 o'clock, so you can even be home for lunch!

If you have wingshooting experience, this is a perfect chance to hit your limit! If you're still new to the sport, this is a great way to improve your skills alongside a top-notch guide. Get out there and see what the Texas coast has to offer!

Took my family to the Rockport to celebrate one of my son's tenth birthday. My son had a blast! Captain Brody put us on the fish! He was really patient with our son and showed us all a great time. Would book with him again in a heartbeat (and we will)! Money well spent!

Great trip, Captain Brody was excellent, took us directly to some huge black drum and surprised us all with how quickly we all caught one!
The we went to a calm spot to catch some keepers and had a great time in the process. Would definitely recommend Brody!

Capt. Brody took us out on a cool windy day on St Charles Bay. He tried his best to make the rough ride as pleasant as possible although my wife and I did damp from the spray.
