Captain Maurice offers these action-packed luxurious fishing adventures out of Hawks Cay, Duck Key, and Marathon, Florida. You’ll explore the best nearshore and offshore spots in the area as well as its reef and wrecks that are known for their good fish stocks. Having fished all his life and being an expert in waters throughout Florida, Captain Maurice will do the most to make sure you have an enjoyable day of fishing as well as the best chance for landing a great catch.

Some of the species you can catch include various sorts of Snapper, Grouper, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, and many more challenging species. To attract them, you can bottom fish, kite fish, spin, jig, and more. Kids are welcome to join your trip and you’re free to take home the fish you reel in. Bring nothing but the food of your choice, as Captain Maurice will provide you with all the fishing gear, bait, drinks, licenses, and even catch cleaning. Pick your day and enjoy a wonderful day on the water with your loved ones!

He runs his trips aboard a 36’ Yellowfin center console that sits up to 6 guests. This powerful boat runs on triple 300HP Mercury engines and uses full-featured navigation technology to reach fishing spots quickly and safely. The boat’s outriggers, downriggers, snorkeling gear, and livewell will all improve your fishing experience. There’s even a multimedia system you can use as well as an ice-box.

Captain Maurice has been fishing since he was a young boy in South Florida. His areas of expertise are tournament offshore fishing throughout Florida and the Bahamas. He's an expert at reef and inshore fishing particularly in the Keys, Everglades National Park, and up the west coast to the Crystal River. Captain Maurice specializes in live bait fishing for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish, Snook, Wahoo, Tarpon, Trout, and all species of Snapper and Grouper.

Whatever fishing you would like to do, rest assured you'll be fishing with one of the top professionals with the ability, knowledge, boat, equipment, but most importantly, with the tenacity and perseverance that you'll catch the fish you're after.

Maurice is also not content to only be on the water! He is a true renaissance man and enjoys hunting hogs, turkeys, and gators as well.

Being outdoors is truly not a job for Captain Maurice, but a passion and opportunity to share his vast knowledge with guests, families, and friends.

Maurice and his son took 5 of us out and despite unusual 50 degree rainy weather in Miami we absolutely crushed it. Caught some kingfish, false albacore, and-the cherry on top-a beautiful sailfish. Maurice worked tirelessly to put us on fish and even stayed out a little longer than we should have to get us more bites. He runs a very clean operation and I’ll be back for more.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
