About Your Trip

Whether you're an experienced fisherman looking to step into a kayak, a kayaker who wants to catch some monsters, or a beginner who wants to try it all, this trip is for you! No matter what you've done in the past, nothing compares to the thrill of chasing gamefish from a sit-on-top kayak; you're literally inches off the water's surface, and you'll feel every tug and turn as a big Lingcod, Rockfish, or Bass takes the line.

These fish occupy the bottom of the water column, hanging out over rocks and structure where they can ambush prey. They also love kelp forests, so you'll target these areas looking for big hook-ups. To get bit, you'll bottomfish and jig on a variety of baits and lures. Let Michael be your guide—he's fished here for years and reliably puts his clients on trophy specimens!

The kayaks, rods, reels, and tackle and totally provided for you! All you need to bring is your California Fishing License, sun protection, and a good attitude! Get out there and bag some keepers.
