About Your Trip

On this extraordinary offshore fishing experience in Venice, Louisiana, you'll be heading offshore to take on fast, strong sportfish species including Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and more! You'll be in expert hands with Captain Troy; he's been fishing here for decades, and knows how to show his guests the time of their lives on the water!

You won't find another fishing charter quite like this one. Captain Troy's purpose-built 44' sportfishing vessel
is a one-of-a-kind Dave Sintes design, and she's completely kitted out for amazing offshore fishing. She was built in old-school fashion for the hard-core fisherman, and runs on two 450 C-Series Cummings engines with a brand new 5 kW Kubota generator. Plus, she has 7” Kevlar spray rails and a SeaFlex hull.
The cabin has the luxuries of a yacht, including a private bath, shower, four queen size bunks, air conditioning, state-of-the-art electronics and stereo system, microwave, BBQ grill, and an 80-gallon fresh water tank.  An easy open latch door accesses a swim platform at the stern. It has a 16’x 28’ covered fishing area with 1st class rods, reels and all the top professional gear for tuna fishing, sword-fishing, and rig fishing.  Your catch will be loaded and stored in a 5,000 lbs. ice box and filleted at the end of the day.

But it's not just the vessel that makes this fishing charter so unique. Captain Troy is a master of his craft, with a wealth of knowledge and experience that he's eager to share with you. He'll take you to the best fishing spots and provide expert guidance on everything from trolling techniques to reeling in your catch. Whether you're an experienced angler looking for a trophy catch or a novice hoping to hook your first fish, Captain troy will tailor the experience to your skill level and interests.

As you bask in the warmth of the Venice sun and the thrill of the open sea, you'll know that you're on a fishing charter that's truly one-of-a-kind. So come aboard, cast your line, and let the adventure begin!

I’ve fished in several states all over the country including AK and Troy was by far the best “Captain “ we have used. Picked us up right off our house boat! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Was also patient with kids. Will definitely be going back!

Amazingly the cost was the same, both were around $4,000.00 (this included travel to the site, lodging, food). The trip to the Baja was a 3 day fishing trip where this was only 1 day. The Baja included lunch and drinks on board.
