Sunflower fields provide excellent feeding habitat, while nearby tanks serve as consistent water sources, helping concentrate birds in key areas throughout the day. These conditions create ideal setups for steady shooting opportunities when bird movement is active.

Each hunt includes a knowledgeable guide who helps position hunters in the most productive locations based on current bird flight patterns. The goal is to put you in the right spot at the right time, maximizing opportunities for passing shots and consistent action in the field.

To further improve success, electronic decoys (mojos) are used in the field to help draw in passing birds and keep them engaged over the spread. These tools are especially effective during morning and evening flights when doves are actively moving between feeding and roosting areas.

This experience is very beginner-friendly and welcoming to hunters of all skill levels. Whether it’s your first time in the field or you’re an experienced wingshooter, guidance is available throughout the hunt. Everything Else to Know

We do not provide any guns or ammunition so you will need to bring your own. I'd also suggest bringing a stool to sit on, bird bag/vest, hat, shooting/sun glasses as well as water or other drinks. Please limit any alcoholic beverages to 2-3 per person.
You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Weston will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
