About Your Trip

Get ready for an action-packed day on the water with Captain Trevor, a Destin native who knows these nearshore waters like the back of his hand. Whether you’re looking to drop deep for bottom dwellers, troll for fast-moving pelagics, or sight-fish along the beach, this trip is designed to put you on the fish and keep the rods bent all day long.

Your trip starts with catching fresh live bait if needed, ensuring you’ve got
the best setup for the day’s fishing. From there, you’ll head out to rock piles, reefs, and wrecks to target Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Gag Grouper, and Amberjack using a mix of bottom fishing, drift fishing, and heavy tackle fishing. If you’re looking for drag-screaming action, you can troll live bait or lures to hook into Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle—all of which will test your strength with their blistering runs. During certain times of the year, Tarpon and Redfish can be found cruising the shallows, offering incredible sight-fishing opportunities right off the beach.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 23’ Hanson center console, powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine. Outfitted with a Cobia tower, 50-gallon live well, power pole, jack plate, spot-lock trolling motor, and Simrad fish finder/GPS, this boat is built to maximize your chances of success. There’s also a Bluetooth sound system, so you can set the vibe with your favorite tunes while you fish.

Captain Trevor provides all rods, reels, and tackle, and he’ll clean your catch at the end of the trip so you can take home some fresh filets. Live bait is available for an additional fee, and if the weather forces a cancellation, you won’t lose your deposit. Beer is welcome on board—just no glass containers.

This trip is great for anglers of all experience levels, including kids, so whether you’re chasing your first big fish or checking a trophy off your bucket list, Captain Trevor is ready to make it happen. Book your trip today and experience some of the best nearshore fishing Destin has to offer!
