About Your Trip

Book a trip for a night full of action-packed bowfishing fun with Resinater Bowfishing Charters. My name is Dustin, and I have been bowfishing for several years and know the surrounding lakes very well. We bowfish Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Lake Belton, Lake Austin, Lake Whitney, Trading House Reservoir and others. If you're a first-timer, no worries, I have you covered. I supply all the state-of-the-art equipment to have an action-packed night out on the water. Having a range of bows everyone including women and children that can accommodate different individuals.

We will start the trip off meeting at the boat ramp and loading up at your preferred time. Then making our way out to the lake, where I will go over a safety briefing with you and get you set up with your bow you will be shooting throughout the trip. You will then take some practice shots to get comfortable with your bow, then off we go to chase some fish.

If you have larger groups (bachelor parties, corporate events, friends, family or just a date night), we can accommodate those bigger groups as well within a 2 weeks' notice.

You will be fishing off of a 20ft custom center console specifically outfitted for bowfishing. The boat is equipped with twelve 100 watt led lights that is best for all clarity of waters we fish in. I will guide you during the trip putting you on different species of fish and guide you into bagging them. There is plenty of opportunities to shoot fish as there in an unlimited bag on them. We target gar, buffalo, carp, shad, grass carp and freshwater drum. So, what are you waiting for let's book you today for a night full of fun and make some memories.

You will a valid Texas Fishing license in order to bowfish. You can obtain a 24hr license if you don't want to purchase a full year license. The trip is an all exclusive bowfishing trip, all safety gear and equipment will be provided. Feel free to bring any snacks and beverages you would like as i supply an ice chest with cold bottles water.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Captain Experiences is the home of over 1500 Damn Good fishing and hunting guides. Our mission is to unlock the outdoors for everyone, and we want to help you get out there through our no-hassle online booking experience and our team of outdoors experts.

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
