Hop aboard with Captain Trey for the ultimate Gulf of Mexico adventure, a 36-hour offshore safari out of Golden Meadow that puts you in range of some of the most productive bluewater fishing grounds in the Gulf. This 2-day trip is built for anglers who want more than a quick run offshore. With extra time on the water, you'll be able to fish multiple techniques, target a wide variety of species, and take full advantage of changing conditions both day and night.

One of the biggest benefits of a trip like this is flexibility. Rather than being locked into a single game plan, Captain Trey can adjust throughout the trip to focus on whatever bite is hottest. You may spend part of the day trolling current lines, weed edges, and offshore structure in search of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and even Blue Marlin. These pelagic predators are some of the most exciting fish in the Gulf, delivering blistering runs and unforgettable fights.

As the sun sets and the offshore waters come alive, the focus can shift to one of the Gulf's most coveted targets: Tuna. With 36 hours on the water, you'll have ample opportunity to fish productive tuna grounds during prime feeding periods. Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna are both on the menu, with techniques ranging from live bait fishing and chunking to drifting baits under the stars. There are few experiences in offshore fishing that compare to hearing a reel scream in the middle of the night as a powerful tuna tears off into the darkness.

For anglers looking to tackle an even greater challenge, Swordfish opportunities may also be available. Depending on conditions, Captain Trey can deploy specialized deep drop rigs during the day or at night in pursuit of one of the ocean's most elusive and prestigious game fish. Hooking a Swordfish is a bucket-list achievement for many offshore anglers, and this trip provides the time needed to pursue that opportunity.

When it's time to explore the deepwater bottom fishery, Captain Trey can position the boat over productive ledges, structure, and drop-offs to target species such as Snowy Grouper, Scamp Grouper, and Vermillion Snapper. Heavy tackle and deep-drop techniques allow anglers to access fish that many shorter offshore trips never have the chance to reach.

Your adventure takes place aboard a 53-foot G&S sportfisher that was built for serious offshore travel. With room for up to eight anglers, this vessel offers both comfort and capability. The boat features an air-conditioned and heated cabin, comfortable bunks for resting between bites, satellite television, Wi-Fi, a full restroom, advanced electronics, and a livewell system designed to support long-range fishing missions. A true Emerald Coast local, Captain Trey graduated from Fort Walton High School and has been mating and captaining charter boats since 2004. In 2007, he purchased his first boat and has been running his own charter operation, setting the bar for Destin fishing charters ever since! His boat is a full-time fishing operation, catering everything from kids fishing trips to multi-day offshore safaris. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Great trip. John and Jason were great at keeping our lines baited up and continuously catching. Captain Trey did a great job moving to the spots where we could catch without too much wait. We caught a lot of fish. The only reason I didn't give them five out of five was we expected to keep the larger Red Snappers, but Captian's license doesn't allow him to keep out of season. Great guys, good experience...
