About Your Trip

Head offshore with Captain Chris for a 6-hour afternoon deep-sea adventure out of Fort Lauderdale, where you’ll chase hard-fighting pelagic species and experience the thrill of sportfishing at its finest. Born and raised in these waters, Captain Chris has spent his life fishing the deep blue, and now he’s ready to show you and your crew what makes South Florida one of the best offshore fishing destinations in the world.

This trip is all about
variety and opportunity. With plenty of time on the water, you’ll be able to run deep offshore in search of Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, Black Grouper, and Mutton Snapper. Depending on conditions, you’ll use a mix of techniques like heavy tackle fishing for deep-water bruisers, light tackle fishing for an exciting fight, trolling for fast-moving pelagics, and jigging to pull big fish off the reefs. When the bite is right, kite fishing with live bait can draw in monster Kingfish and Tuna, while topwater fishing offers explosive action on the surface. Whether you’re watching a Mahi light up in the spread or battling a powerful Wahoo ripping drag, every hookup is an adrenaline rush.

Your ride for the day is a 41’ Viking sportfisher, a battle-tested offshore machine powered by twin Detroit diesel engines pumping out 1,000 HP. This boat is built for serious fishing, featuring top-tier electronics, a large cockpit, and plenty of space to fight big fish. Plus, with air conditioning, a restroom, and cushioned seating, you’ll stay comfortable while waiting for that next bite. Feel free to bring your favorite playlist and connect to the Bluetooth sound system to set the mood.

Captain Chris provides all rods, reels, and tackle, and fish cleaning is included at the end of the trip. Live bait is available for an additional fee, and if the weather forces a cancellation, you won’t lose your deposit. Beer is welcome on board—just no glass containers. This trip is great for anglers of all skill levels, including kids and those with disabilities.

Whether you’re a seasoned offshore angler or looking to experience deep-sea fishing for the first time, Captain Chris is ready to make it happen.
