About Your Trip

Bluefin tuna are the king of the seas with catches upwards of 300lbs. We’ve caught many fish over a 100 over the years with our largest topping off at 220. This experience embarks at the time when I know we will reach our destination and when the fish have been showing up to feed . Normally we travel anywhere from 25-50 miles offshore to look for these mystical creatures . It’s a sight to see when you see 40-200lb tuna crashing in the water chasing bait . All rods, tackle, kite gear, lures and bait (if needed other than flying fish ) is provided with this trip. Fish cleaning is included for fish under 40lbs . For fish over 40lbs , we have a professional processing service that will cut, label and vacuum seal the fish for you at an additional cost. This ensure longevity and proper cuts for sushi and steaks . Come on out and let’s get the next biggest one !

Rapid Fire Guide Q & A

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?
Our biggest fish on the boat was a 220 pound bluefin tuna caught 60 miles offshore during a offshore bluefin tuna trip.
If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?
Fish tacos! My friends praised my fish tacos and nothing beats fresh fish that hasn’t been frozen. Baja style fish tacos are my favorite tacos to eat with some delicious Crema sauce all made from scratch.

I don’t have a band that I admire most however I love all genres of music anything from Rammstein to Pink Floyd and classical music as well as the father of Funk, James Brown.
What’s your favorite movie?
Tough question, I have too many.
What’s your favorite sports team?
I gotta represent where I’m from, the Los Angeles Lakers.
What’s your drink of choice?
Alcohol or regular lol. Moscow mule or a good cold blonde beer . Nothing like a good cup of coffee, Mexican coke or a nice Arnold Palmer .
What was your last halloween costume?
Jimi Hendrix
What do you want for Christmas this year?
A bigger boat lol
How did you get started guiding?
I’ve been fishing these waters my entire life. Since I was young my dad would take me fishing since I was 3 years old. I have him to thank for bringing this passion into my life. I started working on sportboats up north sharpening my craft by great mentors, cutting fish and learning techniques which have excelled my skills as a fisherman and a captain. Fishing is my passion and I started doing it professionally on my own 5 years ago.
What makes you different from other guides?
I’ve been thankfully taught by the best in the game . Having top notch Customer service is very important to me . Making sure my clients are looked after , communicated properly , taught as well as having a great time while learning something new. We have clients at all ranks. Our persistence , friends in the water, gathering intel , and our service is second to none .
