With federal waters access, you'll be able to drop lines deep and target some of the Gulf’s most prized bottom fish.

You'll be fishing from a 54’ Neptune sportfisher, a sturdy, well-equipped vessel powered by twin Caterpillar engines pumping out 840 HP. This boat has all the amenities you need for a comfortable trip, including air conditioning, a restroom, a full kitchen with a microwave, a drink cooler, and plenty of space to relax. Whether you're battling a hard-fighting Gag Grouper or hauling up a tasty Vermillion Snapper, you’ll have everything you need for a smooth and productive day on the water.

Get ready to reel in a variety of bottom-dwelling species, including Red Snapper (when in season), Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Red and Gag Grouper, and Almaco Jack. With live bait available for an additional fee and expert guidance from Captain Shawn, you’ll be set up for success. The primary techniques used on this trip include bottom fishing and cut bait fishing, perfect for targeting big reef fish lurking beneath the surface.

Captain Shawn provides all rods, reels, and tackle, so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, and some sun protection. The boat is kid-friendly and disability-friendly, making it a great choice for families or groups looking to enjoy a day on the water together. If you want to enjoy a cold one while fishing, beer is welcome—just leave the glass bottles at home. At the end of the trip, Captain Shawn can even clean your catch for an additional fee, so you can head home with fresh fillets ready for the grill.
