About Your Trip

This is a 3 night / 2.5 day trip that includes transportation from Harlingen to the lodge and back. The trip pricing is all-inclusive other than shells and tips. Groups 6 or larger will have the lodge to themselves

Tamaulipas, Mexicois a true wing shooters paradise. There are Quail, Ducks, and Doves in an uncommon abundance.

Your mixed bag shoot will consist of 2 quail hunts, 2 duck hunts, and one dove hunt.

Ducks are hunted over decoys in small freshwater ponds and lagoons. Natural blinds are set up in advance and are located strategically to hide the hunters.

Species can vary with the three teal species being the most common. Other species include Golden Eye, Ringnecks, Pintail, Ruddy Ducks, Whistling Ducks, Blue Bills, Shovelers, Canvas Backs, Buffleheads, Gadwall, Wigeon, Mottled Ducks, Speckle Belly Geese, and Snow Geese.

Dove species include: White-Wing Doves, Mourning Doves and European Collared Doves.

Waders, comfortable boots, layered clothing. Laundry is included so no need to pack huge bag.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Paul will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
