Rapid Fire Guide Q & A

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?
200# bluefin tuna
How did you get started guiding?
My dad fishes for a living and he has been bringing me out on the boat since I was 2 1/2 years old. I was born and raised running boats and fishing. It’s all I know and to this day It’s all I do. I have worked on his 65 footer the spitfire for many many years and as soon as I was old enough to get my captains license, I took over running the Free Spirit full-time. Me and my dad are business partners and both of us fish every day pretty much year round. We are dialed in and ready to take you on a fun fishing experience.
What makes you different from other guides?
Experience, and knowledge is what makes us a lot different from other guides. There’s not too many guides out there that fish year round or spend more time than us out on the water year round. Our boats fish practically every day the whole year unless the weather is bad or unless we’re doing boat maintenance. We fish hard and we take nothing but extreme pride at what we do.
