About Your Trip

Are you thinking about shark fishing in Ossabaw Sound? From April through October, the inshore and nearshore waters around Ossabaw Sound and the adjacent ocean are teeming with a variety of shark species, offering nonstop action for anglers looking for a true adrenaline rush. Guided by David out of Richmond Hill, these trips are designed to get you on fish fast—whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced angler.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 25’ bay
boat, equipped for both shallow and near-ocean waters where sharks are frequently found. These trips regularly target blacktip sharks, bonnethead sharks, hammerheads, nurse sharks, sandbar sharks, tiger sharks, and even the occasional giant trevally. Depending on conditions and your preferences, you'll use bottom fishing, light tackle, or heavy tackle to hook into some serious power.

The trips run between four and eight hours and can be tailored to fit your schedule. They’re also family-friendly and welcome to kids, making them a great option for a group adventure. David can clean your catch for an additional fee, and you’re welcome to bring beer aboard—just leave the glass at home. If the weather turns, you won’t lose your deposit, and with a federal permit on board, you’ve got the flexibility to head farther offshore if the fish are biting out deep.

If you’re looking for an exciting and flexible shark fishing experience in coastal Georgia, this trip delivers everything you need for a memorable day on the water.
