Your adventure focuses on targeting two of the most sought-after freshwater species: Walleyes and Smallmouth Bass. With years of local expertise and a commitment to sustainable angling, I am dedicated to delivering an unforgettable day on the water. Smallmouth Bass are exclusively catch-and-release to preserve their trophy potential, and for Walleyes, conservation is encouraged for the larger fish, but you’re welcome to keep up to 3 a person in the 15-20” range for a delicious dinner.

The type of fishing you’ll enjoy depends on the season.

Spring is prime Walleye season on the Wisconsin River. I will set you up with a variety of plastics, live bait, and crankbaits to cast for these prized fish. With the river coming alive, this is the perfect time to feel the pull of a hungry Walleye on your line.

Summer brings an action-packed experience as schooling Smallmouth Bass explode on topwater lures, offering some of the most exciting fishing around. I will also help you mix in artificials, live bait, or trolling for Walleyes, while the river's diverse ecosystem means you might encounter other species along the way.

Fall is all about chasing Walleyes again, as these fish become the primary focus. Depending on the conditions, you’ll use a combination of crankbaits, live bait, or artificials to dial in on where these river warriors are hiding.

I will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and bait, ensuring you have everything you need for a successful day on the water. Whether you’re a seasoned angler chasing a personal best or a beginner eager to learn, I will tailor the trip to your experience level and goals. Just bring your fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, and snacks or drinks to stay fueled for your adventure.

Appropriate attire for weather conditions. This includes insect repellent, sunscreen, rain gear, sunglasses etc.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
