About Your Trip

If you're looking for an unforgettable day on Lake Texoma, Captain Tim is the guide to get you there. With over 30 years of experience fishing these waters and the nearby Red River, Captain Tim knows all the best spots on the TX-OK border to make your fishing dreams come true. Based out of Pottsboro, you’ll be on the water in no time, ready to target some of the lake’s most famous fish—including monster Striper, Catfish, and Crappie.

Captain Tim has been fishing Lake Texoma since the 1980s, and his passion for the outdoors shines through on every trip. Whether you're an experienced angler looking for your next big catch or a beginner eager to learn, he’s got you covered. Captain Tim is patient and knowledgeable, making him a fantastic guide for everyone—he’s even got experience working with people with disabilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a day on the water.

The highlight of your trip will be targeting Lake Texoma’s famous Striped Bass. These powerful fish are known for their size and fight, and Captain Tim specializes in putting you on the biggest ones the lake has to offer. Get ready for a serious battle as you reel in these hard-hitting fish. Once you’ve caught your limit, the day isn’t over—you’ll still have time to chase after Catfish or Crappie, keeping the action going. You’ll switch to light tackle and bottom fishing for these species, giving you a variety of fishing techniques to enjoy.

Your trip includes all the gear you need—rods, reels, tackle, and live bait (already prepped before your trip), so all you have to do is show up ready for a day of fishing. Captain Tim’s first mate will be on board to help make your experience even better, handling anything you need while you're focused on the fish. And at the end of the day, Captain Tim will clean and fillet your catch so you can head home with dinner in hand—fresh from Lake Texoma.

All you need to bring is your Lake Texoma fishing license, along with any snacks and drinks you’d like for the day. Dress for the weather, pack your sunscreen, and get ready for an incredible day on the water with Captain Tim. Whether you're targeting monster Striper or enjoying the thrill of chasing Catfish and Crappie, you’re in for a day of fishing you won’t forget!
