Whether you're a seasoned angler or trying ice fishing for the first time, this trip is a great way to get outdoors and experience one of winter's most rewarding activities.

Trips can begin anytime after sunrise and up until noon, giving you flexibility to choose a start time that works best for your schedule. Once you're geared up and ready to go, Brian will take you to one of several productive ice fishing locations, typically located within 15 minutes of town. That means less travel time and more time with lines in the water.

During this 4-hour trip, you'll target a mix of Perch, Walleye, and several species of Trout depending on seasonal conditions and local fish activity. These fish can provide steady action through the ice, and there is always the possibility of bringing home some excellent table fare at the end of the day.

Brian provides everything needed for a successful outing, including rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. You'll be fishing with light tackle setups specifically chosen for ice fishing, allowing anglers to feel every bite and enjoy the fight of these hard-fighting freshwater species. Brian will help with techniques, bait selection, and locating productive areas, making this trip suitable for anglers of all experience levels.

Because winter conditions can vary, it is important to dress in weather-appropriate clothing. Warm layers, insulated boots, gloves, and other cold-weather gear are highly recommended. Brian also suggests bringing hand warmers to stay comfortable throughout the trip, especially on colder days.

Depending on regulations, conditions, and your success on the ice, you may have the chance to keep enough fish for several delicious meals. To make things easy, Brian will process your catch at the end of the trip and provide zip-top bags for transport and storage.

My operation is land based. All shore or wading locations are within a short walk from the parking location. I can accommodate any suitable age and any experience level. I offer fishing trips year round as well as ice fishing. I consider myself a great teacher and love giving lessons and watching someone learn these lifelong skills.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Brian will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
