About Your Trip

Hello, this is Bobby with Bobby Shockley Fishing. I offer bass fishing trips on Table Rock Lake. I grew up fishing on Table Rock Lake. I love the lake and fishing a really enjoy sharing this passion with fisherman of all skill and age levels. We use tournament grade equipment and often are able to target trophy bass.

My trips begin at 4 hours. Normally the trips start early in the morning but may vary depending on the time of year and fishing conditions. A 4 hour trip for up to two people is $400 and $50 additional for a third fisherman. I usually try to limit the trips to 3 fisherman but have taken a lot of families of 4, especially when the kids being the ones catching fish is the goal. If you have larger groups I can get additional guides to offer additional boats.

We will fish out of a 2025 Phoenix 721 ZXL. It is furnished with Garmin electronics including livescope. I also offer electronics training which are the same fees as fishing trips.

We use whatever bass fishing techniques are working on Table Rock at the time of the trip. If you have a specific technique you would like to learn or try we should talk about the best time of year to use that technique and schedule accordingly.

I provide bottled water for the trip and you should bring any additional drinks or snacks you would like during the trip.

Hello, I'm Bobby Shockley. I live in Springfield Missouri and guide bass fishing trips on Table Rock Lake.

I grew up fishing on Table Rock Lake and enjoy being on the water. I was a Large Animal(farm animals) Veterinarian for 21 years. I began fishing tournaments 10 years ago and rediscovered my love for fishing. I began guiding in 2022.

I will have a new Phoenix boat in January with all new Garmin electronics including livescope. I also offer electronics training.

We use tournament grade equipment and try to catch our fish casting. Even kids that haven't casted before learn to cast and then are usually able to cast and catch fish by the end of the trip.

My passions would have to include God and my family. Outside of fishing I enjoy golfing and hunting.

Customers can expect a professional, safe and fun fishing trip. They can expect me to communicate before the trip about when and where we will meet and what to expect about the fishing.

I enjoy taking kids and teaching them to fish and seeing the enjoyment when they catch one. I also enjoy taking experienced fisherman and teaching them new techniques or just catching fish. I believe enjoying this wide range of trips sets me apart from other guides.

Please wear weather/time of year appropriate clothing. Summer time be sure to bring/wear sunscreen. If it is cool weather, remember it is colder on the water, especially when driving the boat. Rain gear is recommended if there is any chance in the forecast. If you have a lifejacket that fits well and is comfortable you should bring it otherwise I will provide them.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
