Depending on the conditions, you’ll use a mix of trolling and bottom fishing techniques to chase what’s biting.

Your trip takes place aboard a spacious 30’ Sailfish center console, built for serious fishing and comfort. Outfitted with outriggers, top-tier equipment, and a convenient onboard toilet, this boat comfortably accommodates up to 6 passengers. Your captain provides all rods, reels, tackle, and even live bait (just ask if you’ll be catching it yourself). Plus, your fishing license for the day is covered, so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, and a ready-for-anything attitude.

A skilled First Mate will assist throughout the trip, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring you’re set up for success. Whether you're keeping your catch or releasing it, your captain will handle cleaning and filleting any legal fish you bring back.

Families are more than welcome, and kids will have a blast reeling in their own catches! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest, just let the captain know ahead of time. Don’t forget some snacks to keep everyone fueled up for the action-packed day.

Whether you’re bottom fishing, trolling, or drifting, these seasoned guides are all about helping anglers of every level—from kids and first-timers to seasoned veterans—have a great day on the water.

Captain Jay grew up fishing lakes and ponds in New Jersey before his grandfather introduced him to saltwater fishing in the late ’80s. Since then, he’s chased fish all over the world and now runs trips full-time as a USCG-licensed captain. Known for his positive energy and storytelling, he’s as passionate about people as he is about fishing.

Captain Scott is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and licensed USCG Master Captain with deep roots in Murrells Inlet. He’s fished tournaments around the globe and brings serious skill, focus, and dedication to every trip. His calm, encouraging style makes him a favorite among beginners and pros alike.

Together, Captain Jay and Captain Scott are all about creating safe, fun, and productive trips with a relaxed, upbeat vibe. They provide all the gear and bait—you just bring a great attitude (and maybe a smile, because the fish bite better when you do).

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
