You’ll fish aboard a sleek 2017 Wellcraft 21’ Center Console, powered by a 200 HP 4-stroke engine and outfitted with cutting-edge technology to help locate and hook fish with ease. Designed with both efficiency and comfort in mind, the boat even includes a porta-potty inside the center console for added convenience. Captain Tyler’s unique approach to trailering his boat to different launch points means he can adapt to conditions and meet you at the best location for the day’s fishing—most often on the East Bay, just minutes from the hotels in Traverse City.

Fishing on Grand Traverse Bay is excellent year-round. Lake Trout are available all season and are best caught through trolling. Jigging and casting trips shine from late April through the end of July, while the Salmon run peaks from mid-August through late September. Cisco fishing is ideal from April through mid-June and again in late September through October, making the bay a fantastic destination no matter when you visit.

- A valid Michigan fishing license (required for anyone 17 and older).
- Snacks and drinks (alcohol is allowed in moderation).
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a small cooler for your snacks and drinks (larger coolers can stay in the car).
- Dress in layers! Michigan’s weather can change quickly, and staying comfortable is key to enjoying your trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
