On this trip, you’ll typically fish between 8 and 25 miles offshore, targeting a wide range of shark species including Thresher, Mako, Blue, Hammerhead, Dusky, and Brown sharks, with the occasional encounter with a Great White. Many of these species are protected, and the crew participates in a responsible tagging program that anglers can take part in, contributing to ongoing research and conservation efforts. For those interested in keeping fish, edible species like Thresher shark are considered excellent table fare. All top-of-the-line tackle is provided, along with a variety of baits and chum to maximize your chances. A dedicated mate will be on hand throughout the trip, offering guidance, hands-on assistance, and proven techniques to help you safely hook, fight, and land the shark of a lifetime.

Captain Jim and his wife Carolyn both share a common "love and passion" for fishing. They began fishing together over 20 years ago in Montauk, NY, While Captain Jim has been running a six-pack for the last decade, you would often find Carolyn fishing with other fishing friend, both accumulating the necessary knowledge to start their own operation. They have watched their dream come true over the past 5 years, as they now own and operate their own new charter boat.

Together, they bring over 35 years of local knowledge and experience, as they have been fishing all through the east end, inshore and offshore. Even on vacations, the couple will fish in Florida, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and anywhere they can find an ocean. They have entered tournaments, winning and placing, with bluefish, striped bass, and monster sharks. Captain Jim and Carolyn plan on making great memories on this new venture of theirs, and look forward to making you a part of them!!

You will be responsible for your own gear. James will be in touch to discuss details before the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
