Join Ricky for an action-packed half-day fishing adventure in the exotic waters of South Florida, where you'll have the opportunity to target some of the most unique freshwater species in the country. From urban canal systems to wild, swamp-like environments, this fishery offers an incredible mix of scenery, wildlife, and nonstop fishing opportunities.

The stars of the show are South Florida's famous Peacock Bass and Clown Knifefish. Peacock Bass are known for their brilliant colors, aggressive strikes, and powerful fights that make them a favorite among anglers of all skill levels. Clown Knifefish provide a completely different challenge, with their distinctive appearance and strong runs creating an unforgettable fishing experience. Along the way, you'll also have opportunities to catch Largemouth Bass and a variety of other non-native and invasive species that have made South Florida one of the most diverse freshwater fisheries in the United States.

One of the most exciting aspects of this trip is the variety. It's not uncommon to catch multiple species in a single outing, and every stop presents the possibility of hooking into something new. My name is Cpt Ricky, I’m a south FL native born and raised right here in west palm beach FL! I’ve been fishing since I was 10 and guiding since 2019, I have a passion and serious addiction to fresh water fishing in south FL, from largemouth bass and bluegills, to the exotic Peacock Bass and Clown knife fish, I’ve dedicated my life to finding and figuring out these elusive creatures and I’m passionate about sharing the experience of catching them with others. Wether it be on my home lake in west palm beach, out on the “big pond” Lake Okeechobee, or at my new location out west on Arther R. Marshall Loxahatchee national wildlife refuge the northern most part of the Florida Everglades, I can’t wait to have you on my boat and start making memories of a life time!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 2 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 2 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
