Your evening kicks off aboard Captain Keith’s 19’ Key West boat, a nimble and well-equipped vessel perfect for the shallow waters where the action happens. Designed for stealthy, effective gigging, the boat features a wireless trolling motor to quietly glide across the flats, powerful lights to illuminate the underwater terrain, and an ice box to keep your catches fresh. With space for up to 4 anglers, it’s ideal for a private and memorable experience under the stars.

The heart of the trip is gigging, a time-honored fishing technique where you’ll stalk the shallows, scanning for Flounder lying in wait on the sandy bottom. Armed with specialized gigging poles and guided by Captain Keith’s expertise, you’ll learn how to spot and spear these delicious fish with precision. The powerful lights on the boat make it easy to see through the water and find your targets. There’s nothing quite like the excitement of striking your catch in the quiet stillness of the night—it’s an adventure you’ll be talking about for years.

If you’re looking to mix things up, Captain Keith can also take you fishing for other popular inshore species like Sheepshead and Sand Perch during your trip. With all the necessary gear provided, you can alternate between gigging and fishing to make the most of your time on the water. This combination of techniques ensures there’s plenty of action and variety throughout the night.

At the end of the 4-hour trip, Captain Keith will clean and fillet your Flounder or any other catches so they’re ready to cook when you get home. The boat is stocked with water to keep you hydrated, but feel free to bring along any snacks or drinks to make your night even more enjoyable.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
