About Your Trip

oin Captain Billy for a fishing adventure out of Fort Pierce that combines Old Florida charm with world-class angling on the stunning Treasure Coast! As a native guide with a lifelong passion for fishing, Captain Billy is eager to share his knowledge of the area’s wildlife, ecosystem, and diverse fisheries. Whether you’re an avid angler or new to the sport, Captain Billy’s enthusiasm for fishing is contagious, and his trips are designed to be both educational and action-packed.

Fishing the mangroves and flats with light tackle or fly gear, you’ll target some of Florida’s most iconic inshore species, including Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Tripletail. The flats and mangroves are teeming with fish and provide the perfect environment for sight casting and stalking your prey. If the weather allows, Captain Billy can also take you nearshore to chase Cobia, Grouper, and Kingfish, adding even more excitement to your day.

You’ll fish aboard a 22’ Pathfinder bay boat powered by a dependable 175 HP Yamaha engine. With modern electronics for navigation and fish-finding, as well as a live well for bait and an icebox to keep your catch fresh, this boat is fully equipped to make your trip comfortable and successful. The spacious deck offers plenty of room for casting, whether you’re working the mangroves or venturing offshore.

Captain Billy provides everything you need for a great day on the water, including top-quality rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. Your fishing license is included, so all you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks. Bottled water is provided, and once you return to shore, Captain Billy will clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost—so you’re all set to enjoy your fresh fish at home.

Captain Billy’s trips are more than just fishing—they’re an opportunity to connect with the unique beauty of the Treasure Coast. His deep knowledge of the area’s waters and wildlife means you’ll leave the dock not only with great memories and photos but also with a better understanding of the ecosystem that makes Fort Pierce so special.

Whether you’re after a bucket-list Snook, a thrilling nearshore adventure, or just a relaxing day exploring the Treasure Coast’s pristine waters, Captain Billy is here to deliver an unforgettable experience.

About Your Guide

Billy B.

Independent Guide
I come from a family of fishermen. I knew from an early age I wanted to be a fishing guide. I love everything about the water. I have spent many seasons in Everglades City, working with my father-in-law and stone crabbing. The open water of the Gulf of Mexico has the best sunrise I've ever seen. I also have experience as an airboat captain – anything to get out on the water! But nothing compares...

I have spent many seasons in Everglades City, working with my father-in-law and stone crabbing. The open water of the Gulf of Mexico has the best sunrise I've ever seen. I also have experience as an airboat captain – anything to get out on the water! But nothing compares to being a fishing guide. I enjoy everything about fishing. There is nothing better than to put my clients on some nice sport fish. To see their faces when they pull a keeper Snook into the boat, that is priceless.

Captain Billy put us on the snook and we caught 4 and got a number of strikes. Only one of the snook was within the keeper range. Also landed a 10+ lb jack which was really fun to handle. Great trip.
