If you're looking for an action-packed adventure beneath the surface, Captain Torre's spearfishing and lobstering trip in Big Pine Key is the perfect experience. Born and raised in the Lower Keys, Captain Torre has spent his life free diving for lobster and spearfishing starting from just off his dock as a kid. With over 15 years of experience navigating these waters, he knows exactly where to take you for an unforgettable day of diving, hunting, and harvesting.

You'll head out on a 26’ Mako center console, a sturdy and well-equipped boat powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. Outfitted with a GPS, Fishfinder, live bait well, snorkeling gear, and spearfishing equipment, this boat is ready for both seasoned free divers and those looking to try spearfishing or lobstering for the first time.

During the trip, you'll free dive along the coral reefs, ledges, and deeper offshore spots in search of Amberjack, Black Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, Kingfish, Lane Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, and Yellowtail Snapper. If you're after Lobster, you'll work the shallower waters, using snorkel gear and a lobster tickle stick to coax these tasty crustaceans from their hiding spots.

Whether you're an experienced spearo or brand new to underwater hunting, Captain Torre will guide you through the process, ensuring a safe and successful trip. All necessary spearfishing and snorkeling gear is provided, and at the end of the day, he'll even clean and fillet your catch so you can take home a fresh seafood feast.

Bring along your swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, and a cooler for your catch. Feel free to pack snacks and drinks (beer is welcome, just no glass), and don’t forget an underwater camera to capture the excitement.

Can’t say enough great things about Captain Torre! He put us on the fish quickly and made the trip a blast for both our kids and the non-fishy people in the group. He’d be the first one I’d call when we are next down this way
