Whether you choose a 4, 6, or 8-hour trip (8-hour is a split of bottom fishing and trolling), you’ll have the opportunity to drop lines over reefs and wrecks teeming with some of Florida’s most sought-after species. The longer the trip, the farther offshore you’ll venture, giving you access to deeper water and bigger fish.

Captain Andrew’s bottom fishing trips are all
about targeting reef and wreck dwellers like Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Tripletail, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and King Mackerel. With his expert guidance and local knowledge, you’ll have the best chance to hook into some of these hard-fighting, delicious fish.

You’ll fish aboard a well-equipped vessel outfitted with everything you need for a productive and comfortable day on the water. Outfitted for serious fishing, this setup is perfect for bottom fishing and heavy tackle action.

All the necessary gear is included in the price of your trip, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Captain Andrew provides rods, reels, tackle, live bait (often caught as bycatch during the trip), and even lures. Your fishing license is also covered, leaving you free to focus on reeling in your catch. At the end of the day, Captain Andrew will clean and fillet your fish for you back at the dock, so you can head home with fresh fillets ready to cook. Tips for the cleaning service are always appreciated.

All you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. Don’t forget a cooler to keep your catch fresh for the trip home! Captain Andrew’s trips are perfect for anglers of all experience levels, so whether you’re a seasoned pro or it’s your first time fishing offshore, he’ll make sure you have an incredible time on the water.

I grew up in New Jersey and have been fishing and on boats since before I can remember. I moved to Florida in 2017 and finally made my dream happen in 2021 when I got my captain's license. Now, I can take people fishing and hopefully share the enjoyment that I have fishing and just being on the water. I don't target any certain species of fish... I just try to put people on fish...

I just try to put people on fish so they can have fun. I fish light spinning gear so even a 6 inch snapper feels huge. To me, it's more about the experience and having a great time than just targeting a certain fish. We do catch big fish too as you can see in the pictures. Just an added bonus! If you are looking to have an enjoyable time catching some fish, playing some good tunes on the radio, and possibly catching a fresh meal (if that's your thing) or catch and release, then please book me!
