Few people know that Cancun has one of the best fly fishing areas in the country. The Cancun-Isla Blanca region is a small peninsula east of Cancun and north of Isla Mujeres. Most of it is a nature reserve surrounded by lagoons such as Cacmuchuch, Makax, Cocalitos, Los Patos, and Boca Iglesia, among others. It is an incredible oasis of Caribbean nature, away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun, perfect for fly fishing.

In Cancun you could catch permit, tarpon, bonefish, snook, crappie, barracuda, snapper, jacks among many others. Come fly fishing in Cancun, our guides will take you to a paradisiacal region of the Mexican Caribbean. The strong fishing season in Cancun for permit, baby tarpon, tarpon and black snook is from March to November.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Fidel will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
