About Your Trip

Spend the day fishing Florida’s freshwater hotspots with your guide Sean, where hard-fighting fish and exciting action are always on the agenda. These waters are home to a variety of species, including Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bowfin, Florida Gar, Tiger Oscars, Cichlids, and more. Whether you're after the acrobatic leaps of a Peacock Bass or the aggressive strikes of a Bowfin, Sean knows where to find them.

Depending on your target species, you'll be using
live bait (shiners) or casting topwater lures for thrilling surface explosions. Light tackle and spinning gear make for an engaging experience, whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the sport, Sean will tailor the trip to match your experience level and fishing goals, ensuring an exciting and productive day on the water.

This trip is perfect for families, and kids are welcome with a parent on board. If you need a child-sized life vest, be sure to ask Captain Sean in advance or bring your own. Fishing can work up an appetite, so feel free to bring along snacks to keep your energy up throughout the trip.

You'll be fishing from a 17' Tracker bass boat, an ideal vessel for navigating Florida's lakes and rivers. Designed for up to two passengers, it’s well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable and effective day of fishing. Captain Sean provides top-quality rods, reels, and tackle, along with live bait (shiners) and lures upon request. To keep you hydrated, bottles of water and Gatorade are included.

A local fishing license is required before the trip, which can typically be purchased online or with Captain Sean’s guidance. All fishing is catch and release, helping to preserve these waters for future generations. Alcohol is not permitted on this trip.

With Captain Sean leading the way, you'll have the chance to battle some of Florida’s most exciting freshwater fish in a stunning natural setting. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or chasing your next personal best, this trip promises an unforgettable fishing experience.

Independent Guide
I have lived in South Florida my entire life and have been fishing since I was a kid. And while I have fished all over Florida, the Everglades is an area that Im truly passionate about. It's a magical place and one of my favorite places to be. With years of experience navigating the waters of the Everglades, I have the knowledge and experience to put customers on the fish and educate them on the amazing wildlife that the glades has to offer. As well as being a guide, I am also an avid tournament angler and complete in some of the largest tournament trails in Florida. I run a 2020 Tracker Pro Team 175TXW powered by a Mercury 75hp motor with a cruising speed of around 40mph. On board you will find quality Lews spinning rod/reel combos. I always have a few extra on board to ensure there's no break in the fishing due to snagged lines or lost hooks. There is also a cooler filled with ice, water and gatorade, a first aid kit, auto inflatable life jackets, all fishing gear needed for your trip and plenty of dry storage area's. Whether you're a novice angler or a seasoned pro, I always strive to make sure you have an unforgettable day on the water.

Rapid Fire Guide Q & A

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?
8 pound largemouth bass.
If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?
BBQ
What’s your favorite band?
Anything country.
How did you get started guiding?
Ive enjoyed fishing and the Everglades since I was a kid. I try to learn everything I can about both and enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. I spend a lot of time on the waterways of Everglades Holiday Park and would get approached at the boat ramp by customers getting off airboat rides to see if I could take them out fishing. After many awesome conversations I decided to start a guide business so I could show people how amazing fishing in the glades is.
What makes you different from other guides?
I always try to taylor the fishing experience to each individual customer. I want them to enjoy their time fishing. I'm very upbeat and enjoy good conversation.

Everything Else to Know

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
A Florida freshwater fishing license is required for each angler and is not provided with the trip. The license can be purchased at Walmart, some local bait and tackle shops or on the FWC (Florida Wildlife Commision) website which will give you a digital license to keep on your phone.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
